No advertising cookies, ever. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are set only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. They let a return visit be recognised, so the site can show which talks and pages people read and come back to.
Until you choose, and if you choose Essential only, no cookie is set. Google Analytics then receives only a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier, so a visit can be counted but never linked to you or to another visit.
Use Cookie choices at the foot of any page to bring the banner back and choose again. If you had accepted, choosing Essential only stops the analytics cookies from being used.
Following a link out to YouTube, ted.com, LinkedIn, X or a publisher takes you to a company that does set its own cookies. See privacy.
